And no, it's not your next cleanse...
When it comes to detox, it’s all about lowering the number of toxins you are exposed to and increasing the efficiency with which you process and clear them!
It’s easy to be exposed to toxins that impact immune and cellular health without even knowing it! Some toxins are obvious, like food dyes and alcohol, but what about more subtle culprits? Like eating or drinking out of heated plastic (coffee makers or takeout, anyone?!), scented hygiene products such as cologne, and most makeup to name a few!
And what can you do to make your body more efficient at detoxing the chemicals you're exposed to? Think sweating, pooping, peeing, and moving your lymphatic flow! In a day, this could look like supporting a morning bowel movement with plenty of fiber, getting daily walks in to promote lymphatic flow, staying hydrated, and getting a sauna session in!
